The University of Iowa's head rowing coach, Jeff Garbutt, has announced the addition of 23 new student-athletes to the women's rowing team. These athletes were selected after completing a tryout process.

Coach Garbutt commented on the team's prospects: "We are pretty excited about the athleticism that we have seen out of our rookie rowers. They have worked super hard these past couple of weeks and are constantly improving day-to-day," said Garbutt. "We are eager to see what this group will be able to accomplish this year."

The newly named team members will participate in their first race at the Iowa Chase event scheduled for Saturday, November 1.

The list of new additions includes Ava Adams, Zoey Belt, Anna Brant, Natalie Eddinger, Ava Garvey, Jordyn Gassman, Abbi Hoyt, Kynedi Humphrey, Lena Jones, Olivia Leschinsin, Ryleigh McFarland, Grace Meidenbauer, Adyson Mueller, Mikaela Mwangong, Jadyn Pankow, Brynna Panlener, Marty Peters, Caitlin Quinn, Naomi Rediger, Claire Shanley, Elizabeth Stopak, Maddy Stutler and Olivia Sweeney.
