Iowa City home prices rise in the second half of 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in the second half of 2017 in Iowa City rose by $10,000 while total sales increased by 53.6%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From July through December of 2017, there were 43 homes sold, with a median sale price of $330,000 - a 3.1% increase over the $320,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 28 homes sold in Iowa City in the second half of 2016.
