Hills home prices fall in the first half of 2019

The median sale price of a home sold in the first half of 2019 in Hills fell by $5,500 while total sales decreased by 55.6%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through June of 2019, there were four homes sold, with a median sale price of $169,500 - a 3.1% decrease over the $175,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were nine homes sold in Hills in the first half of 2018.

The median sales tax in Hills for the most recent year with available data, 2016, was $2,194, approximately 1.3% of the median home sale price for the first half of 2019.
