Iowa City home prices rise in the second quarter of 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in the second quarter of 2017 in Iowa City rose by $142,450 while total sales increased by 30%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From April through June of 2017, there were 26 homes sold, with a median sale price of $467,450 - a 43.8% increase over the $325,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 20 homes sold in Iowa City in the second quarter of 2016.
