The University of Iowa gymnastics team has released its 2026 season schedule, as announced by head coach Jen Llewellyn. The Hawkeyes will host five home meets at Carver-Hawkeye Arena.

The season begins on January 2 in Salt Lake City, Utah, where Iowa will compete in a tri-meet against Utah and Minnesota. Their first home event is the Border Battle on January 10, featuring Illinois, Illinois State, and Iowa State.

Additional home meets include Michigan State on January 17, Nebraska on February 7, Penn State on February 21—which will be broadcast on BTN—and a quad-meet with Central Michigan, Southeast Missouri (SEMO), and Northern Illinois scheduled for March 6.

Away competitions are set for Michigan (January 24), Minnesota (January 31), and Rutgers (February 14). The Big Four Meet will take place in Los Angeles on February 27 with UCLA, Ohio State, and Maryland; this meet will be televised nationally on FS1.

Iowa’s regular season concludes with the annual Iowa Corn Cy-Hawk Series matchup at Iowa State on March 13 before postseason events begin. The Big Ten Championships are scheduled for March 20-21 at a location to be announced. NCAA Regionals are slated for April 1-5, followed by the NCAA Championships from April 16-18.

In addition to the competitive schedule, Iowa will hold a Black and Gold Intrasquad meet open to the public at Carver-Hawkeye Arena on December 12. Admission to this event is free.

Head coach Jen Llewellyn stated: "We are excited about our upcoming season and look forward to competing in front of our fans at Carver-Hawkeye Arena."
