The University of Iowa men's golf team completed its fall season at the Fallen Oak Collegiate in Biloxi, Mississippi, finishing 13th out of 14 teams. The tournament took place at the Fallen Oak Golf Club.

Sophomore Grant Gudgel led the Hawkeyes in the final round with an even-par 72, making three birdies on the back nine and posting a score of 34 for those holes. Senior Gage Messingham recorded a one-over-par 73, which included a birdie on his first hole and consecutive birdies on holes 16 and 17.

Junior Maxwell Tjoa shot a six-over-par 78. Redshirt sophomore Chance Rinkol and freshman Bennett Warren each posted seven-over-par rounds of 79 to complete Iowa's scoring for the day.

The team's round scores were as follows: they opened with a four-over-par 292, improved to a one-under-par 287 in the second round, but finished with a fourteen-over-par 302 in the final round.

Head coach Tyler Stith commented on the team's performance: "We had a poor start and never fully recovered.  We didn’t capitalize on the easier stretch of holes including par 5s #13 and #15 then dropped a bunch of shots on #17 and #18. That carried over to the front side and we just compounded errors. It’s a tough way to end the fall season because we played well below our standard today. These guys are resilient and I believe in them.  We will work hard this off-season, continue to build and prove we are better team."
