Iowa announces home-and-away wrestling schedule for upcoming Big Ten season

The University of Iowa has released its 2025-26 Big Ten Conference men’s wrestling schedule. The announcement, made in coordination with the Big Ten Conference, outlines the matchups for the upcoming season, though specific times and television information will be provided later.

For home events at Carver-Hawkeye Arena, Iowa will face Wisconsin on January 9, Penn State on January 16, Minnesota on January 30, and Michigan on February 13. On the road, the Hawkeyes are set to compete against Nebraska (January 23), Ohio State (February 6), Michigan State (February 8), and Purdue (February 15).

Postseason action starts with the Big Ten Championships scheduled for March 7-8 in State College, Pennsylvania. The NCAA Championships will follow from March 19-21 in Cleveland.

Reflecting on last season, Iowa finished with a record of 14 wins and one loss overall and a conference record of seven wins and one loss. The team placed third at the Big Ten Championships and fourth at the NCAA Championships. Five Hawkeyes earned All-American honors and one was named National Champion. Additionally, Iowa led all programs nationally in attendance for the eighteenth consecutive year.

"Iowa is coming off a 2024-25 season where it posted a 14-1 overall and 7-1 Big Ten mark. The Hawkeyes placed third at the Big Ten Championships and fourth at the NCAA Championships with five All-Americans and one National Champion. Iowa led the nation in attendance for the 18th straight year."
