Junior Maura Peters led Iowa with a ninth-place finish, her best career result. Peters completed the tournament with a score of 215 after rounds of 74, 69, and 72. She moved up 16 spots on the leaderboard following her opening round and achieved her second career top-10 finish.

Senior Riley Lewis posted a season-best total of 221 to tie for 19th place. Junior Ximena Benites finished tied for 24th with a score of 222. Senior Shannyn Vogler was tied for 35th after shooting a total of 224 over three rounds.

Freshman Sunny Wang rounded out Iowa’s lineup with a final-round score of 77 and tied for 49th place overall.

Competing as an individual, senior Kaitlyn Hanna shot a one-under-par final round (71) to finish at 223 and tied for 28th place after moving up significantly in the standings following Monday’s play.

Illinois won the team title with an overall score of sixteen-under-par (848). Alexis Myers from Illinois claimed individual honors by carding nine-under-par (207).

Head coach Megan Menzel commented on the team's performance: “We have seen a lot of good things through the first two tournaments. We certainly would’ve liked to see a few more putts fall today, but we’re very pleased to see Maura post her career-best tournament finish, and it was great to see Kaitlyn Hanna finish with an under-par round today. We are very excited to get back to work and look forward to playing and hosting at home in a couple of weeks.”

The Hawkeyes will next compete when they host the Diane Thomason Invitational presented by Scheels at Finkbine Golf Course on September 29-30.
