Iowa track teams honored for academic excellence by USTFCCCA

The University of Iowa's men's and women's track and field teams have been recognized by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) for their academic achievements. Both teams were named to the 2025 USTFCCCA All-Academic teams, with 19 individuals earning All-Academic honors.

To qualify for this recognition, teams must maintain a collective GPA of 3.0 or higher. Individual athletes are required to have a cumulative GPA of at least 3.25 and must either finish in the top 96 in an individual event or be part of a top 48 relay team during the indoor season, or compete at the NCAA Outdoor Championships.

The individuals from Iowa who received this honor include Alivia Bauer (Elementary Education), Alli Bookin-Nosbisch (Sport and Recreation Management), Gabby Cortez (Exercise Science), Holly Duax (Psychology), Alexandria Edison (Political Science), Nicholas Gorsich (Computer Science), Luke Knepp (Pre-Business), Austin Kresley (Sport and Recreation Management), Lia Love (Public Health), Paige Magee (Sport and Recreation Management), Emmanuel Njoku (Sociology), Chioma Nwachukwu (Sport and Recreation Management), Carlee Rochford (Sport and Recreation Management), Ryan Schreiner (English & Creative Writing), Sydnie Smith (Biology), Abraham Vogelsang (Business), Alivia Williams (Pre-Vet Medicine), Annie Wirth (Management) and Maud Zeffou-Poaty (Art).
