University of Iowa's Logan Jones, a sixth-year senior, has been named to the 2025 Walter Camp Preseason Second-Team All-American list. The announcement was made by the Walter Camp Foundation on Tuesday.
In 2024, the Hawkeyes had two players recognized as Walter Camp All-Americans: Jay Higgins and Kaleb Johnson. The program has consistently had at least one player named to the list for 11 consecutive years, beginning in 2014.
Jones, who hails from Council Bluffs, Iowa, started in 12 games during his junior year. He earned first-team all-conference honors and was an honorable mention All-American according to Phil Steele in 2024. Jones played a crucial role in anchoring the Hawkeye offensive line, which was a semifinalist for the Joe Moore Award that year. The team allowed only 17 sacks and achieved a rushing total of 2,564 yards, marking their highest since 2002.
The Hawkeyes are set to begin their 2025 season on August 30 against UAlbany at Kinnick Stadium with kickoff scheduled for 5 p.m. Central Time.
