University of Iowa freshman Lily Huether has been honored as a member of the Women's Golf Coaches Association (WGCA) All-American Scholar Team for the 2024-25 season. The announcement was made on Monday by the WGCA.

The selection criteria for this accolade are notably rigorous within college athletics. To qualify, student-athletes must maintain a cumulative grade point average of at least 3.50, be amateurs, remain on their team's roster through the end of the season, and participate in at least 50 percent of their college's regularly scheduled competitive rounds during the year up to the conference championship.

The WGCA recognized a total of 1,499 women collegiate golfers from 403 programs nationwide.

In her debut season with Iowa City, Huether participated in eight tournaments and achieved a scoring average of 78.05 over 20 rounds. Her top performance came at the Nashville Invitational, where she tied for 20th place with scores of 226 (77-76-73), contributing to the Hawkeyes' victory in the team tournament.
