University of Iowa forward Hannah Stuelke has been selected to join the 2025 USA Basketball Women’s AmeriCup roster. The announcement was made by USA Basketball following three days of trials at the U.S. Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
The team will participate in the 2025 FIBA Women’s AmeriCup, which is scheduled from June 28 to July 6 in Santiago, Chile.
The roster for the 2025 USA Women’s AmeriCup Team includes players Raegan Beers, Mikayla Blakes, Madison Booker, Audi Crooks, Joyce Edwards, Hannah Hidalgo, Flau’jae Johnson, Gianna Kneepkens, Olivia Miles, Kennedy Smith, Hannah Stuelke and Grace VanSlooten.
For several players including Beers, Crooks, Johnson, Kneepkens and Stuelke this will mark their competitive debuts with USA Basketball.
Kara Lawson from Duke University has been appointed as head coach. She will be supported by assistant coaches DeLisha Milton-Jones of Old Dominion University and Jennie Baranczyk from the University of Oklahoma. Court coaches Jim Flanery from Creighton University and Robyn Fralick from Michigan State University will also assist during trials.
The team is set to open Group B against host nation Chile and will face Colombia, Puerto Rico and Mexico. The winner of this tournament will secure a place in the 2026 FIBA Women’s World Cup in Berlin next summer.
Since its inception in 1993, the United States has won four AmeriCup gold medals with titles claimed in 2019 and 2021.
