Physicians: Cast your vote for US News surveys for ‘Best Hospitals’ and ‘Best Children’s Hospitals’

Voting in the U.S. News & World Report “Best Hospitals” and “Best Children’s Hospitals” surveys has begun. If you are an eligible physician, cast a ballot for UI Hospitals & Clinics or UI Stead Family Children’s Hospital. Voting will continue into March.

How to vote

Eligible physicians must be registered with Doximity Be sure to check the email account you used to register with Doximity (it may be different than your @uiowa.edu email address).

If you’re not registered with Doximity, create an account now so that you can vote.

Who votes?

To vote in the “Best Hospitals” survey, you must be board-certified in one of these specialties:

  • Cancer
  • Cardiology and heart surgery
  • Diabetes and endocrinology
  • Ear, nose, and throat
  • Gastroenterology and GI surgery
  • Geriatrics
  • Gynecology
  • Nephrology
  • Neurology and neurosurgery
  • Ophthalmology
  • Orthopedics
  • Psychiatry
  • Pulmonology and lung surgery
  • Rehabilitation
  • Rheumatology
  • Urology
To vote in the “Best Children’s Hospitals” survey, you must be  board-certified in one of these specialties:

  • Neonatology
  • Pediatric cancer
  • Pediatric cardiology and heart surgery
  • Pediatric diabetes and endocrinology
  • Pediatric gastroenterology and GI surgery
  • Pediatric nephrology
  • Pediatric neurology and neurosurgery
  • Pediatric orthopedics
  • Pediatric pulmonology and lung surgery
  • Pediatric urology

You may vote for multiple institutions, but only one institution is required to be listed for you to submit your response.
