Soul and Blues Festival road closures announced
The City will close multiple streets Friday, Sept. 23, through Sunday, Sept. 25, 2022, for the Soul and Blues Festival.
The annual music and culture festival organized by the Summer of the Arts brings a score of musicians to Downtown Iowa City for a two-day event.

Road closure and parking impacts
Clinton Street from Jefferson to Washington streets, and Iowa Avenue from Clinton to Dubuque streets, will be closed at 6 a.m. Friday, Sept. 23, 2022. The roads will reopen by 2 a.m. Sunday, Sept. 25, 2022.
During this time, parking will also not be allowed on the west side of Dubuque Street between Iowa and Jefferson.
Parking meters on all impacted streets will be marked with "No Parking" signs before the event. Cars in violation of these regulations will be towed.
The Parking Division will be operating a normal weekday and weekend schedule from Friday through Sunday. Parking ramps will remain open and staffed. All parking regulations will be in effect and enforced.
