From Hand Axes to the Hard Drive: Humans and Technology in Biocultural Perspective
Anna Waterman | Associate Professor of Biology
Since the origin of our genus, humans have been defined by the material culture they produce. This presentation examines evidence of our earliest technological steps and explores how technology continues to define what it means to be human.
All events of the annual Fall Faculty Series are free and open to the Mount Mercy community and the public. In keeping with its educational mission, Mount Mercy University welcomes presenters with varied perspectives.
Come and learn with us in the Flaherty Community Room (204 Basile Hall) at 6:00-7:00 PM!
