Join us at the graduate center on September 8 at noon for a discussion lead by the Vice President for Operational Excellence & Continuous Improvement at CRST!

During this Bring-Your-Own-Lunch and Learn discussion, Tony Rose of CRST International will walk through the thought processes of great leaders as they "autopsy" a hypothetical quality failure—introducing several quality tools along the way. This 45-minute presentation will begin at noon followed by a networking opportunity.

Tony Rose

Tony Rose is the Vice President of Operational Excellence and Continuous Improvement at CRST International, a supply chain logistics and transportation provider.

Before working in supply chain, Tony held similar leadership positions over the past 19 years in continuous improvement and business process management in the aerospace, manufacturing, and financial services industries.

In addition to earning a Bachelor of Science in Business from Mount Mercy University and Master of Business Administration from the University of Iowa, Tony holds a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification, is a certified Scaled Agile Framework Program Consultant, and achieved his Business Process Management Professional (BPMP) certification from the BPM Institute.

He implements these methodologies to remove waste from organizations and to increase the value created for customers. Outside of his professional work, Tony has a passion for teaching. He is an adjunct professor in the Mount Mercy Master of Business Administration program, teaching statistics, quality management, management information systems, and systems analysis and design.
