Summer Lunch & Fun will return this June. All North Liberty youth under 18 are invited to stop by the Ranshaw House, located just north of the Community Center, for a free meal and an activity Monday through Friday, from June 13 to August 5. Lunch will be served from 11:30 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. and an activity will be offered each day from 12 to 1 p.m. No registration is required.
Summer Lunch & Fun is sponsored by the North Liberty Unity Coalition, with food, volunteer and activity support from the City of North Liberty Library and Recreation staff, the North Liberty Community Pantry, several area churches and dozens of residents and businesses.
Summer Lunch & Fun served more than 6,600 meals last year, and program organizers are seeking participation from local restaurants and others to help provide free food and activities for North Liberty youth again this year. To help, contact tmulcahey@northlibertyiowa.org.
