Indoor Pool Expected to Reopen Monday, Dec. 13

Open

City of North Liberty recently issued the following announcement.

The North Liberty Community Center’s indoor pool is expected to reopen on Monday, Dec. 13, at 6 a.m., after critical parts arrived after a lengthy delay.

Our pool is normally kept at 84 degrees, and, while the pool water is currently being heated, it is expected to be cooler than normal when the pool reopens. Masks are required within the Community Center, including on the pool deck and locker rooms, but are not permitted in the water.

Lap swim, classes and open swims are scheduled for the coming weeks. Patrons can find detailed schedules at northlibertyiowa.org/calendar/aquatics. Copies are also available at the Recreation Department’s front desk.

Pool passes have been extended from their original expiration dates for time of closure, and staff appreciates our patron’s patience following this extended closure.
