City of Solon recently issued the following announcement.

City Leaf Collection will begin Monday, October 18th. Leaf Collection will be every Monday through November. Weather Permitting
Leaves need to be placed along the topside of curbed streets or outside of the water flow path of uncurbed streets by Monday mornings. If the collection amount is large for any particular week, we may not be able to get all the streets completed on Mondays. We will continue on that Tuesday until all streets have been completed.
Our Leaf Vacuum DOES NOT like sticks! If your leave pile has sticks mixed in, we will be forced to leave to them and not collect. Please do not park along piles of leaves. If we cannot run our equipment along side of them, they also will not be picked up.
