Results of the 2021 Coralville City Election

Vote

City of Coralville issued the following announcement on November 3.

On November 2, 2021, Meghann Foster was elected to the office of Mayor; Foster will be the first female mayor in Coralville’s 148 year history. Incumbents Hai Huynh and Laurie Goodrich were re-elected to the City Council, and Mike Knudson was newly elected to the City Council.  

Goodrich, Huynh, and Knudson will serve with Jill Dodds and Mitch Gross, who were not up for election this year. Mayor John Lundell will retire at the end of 2021 after eight years as Mayor, preceded by ten years on the City Council. Foster is currently finishing her first term on the City Council. Terms for newly elected officials begin January 1, 2022.

Election results are unofficial until they are canvassed by the Johnson County Board of Supervisors. Election results
