City of Iowa City recently issued the following announcement.
Due to staffing issues, beginning Monday, Oct. 11, 2021, the 8 – Oakcrest route will reduce service on weekdays from every 15 minutes to every 30 minutes from 6 a.m. – 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. – 6:30 p.m. The service reduction is expected to continue until Friday, Oct. 15, 2021
The Transit app for 8 – Oakcrest route will not be reliable during the temporary service reduction. Please access the temporary bus schedule for scheduled arrival times.
