Event Details

The Department of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusivity would like to invite you to participate in our DEI Critical Concerns Calendar event series.

Each month we will have Reflection, Engagement, and Service events and opportunities for the Mount Mercy University community. This month, the critical concern we are focusing on is nonviolence.

We are excited to invite you to our first event in October, "Creating an LGBTQ+ Inclusive Community." Dr. April Dirks, Professor of Social Work, and Dr. Melissa McCollister, Assistant Professor of Social Work, will lead an interactive presentation on how the critical concern of nonviolence points to inclusivity at Mount Mercy University.

This reflection event will be in the Flaherty Community Room (Basile Hall Room 204) on Wednesday, October 6, from 12:00 PM - 1:00 PM. Please RSVP to diversity@mtmercy.edu, and let us know if you have any questions.
