University Of Iowa Hospital & Clinics recently issued the following announcement on September 17.
All patients, visitors, and staff should use Parking Ramps 1 and 2 on the day of home football games at Kinnick Stadium. Traffic may be heavy at times.

On home game days, motorists are advised to arrive at UI Hospitals & Clinics from the north via Hawkins Drive due to temporary road closures around the stadium.
Road closures:
- For the Kids Way and Hawkins Drive between Melrose Ave and Evashevski Drive are closed to traffic beginning 2.5 hours before kickoff until two hours after the game has ended.
- Melrose Ave between Olive Court and Hawkins Drive is closed 1 hours before kickoff.
No vehicles will be allowed to enter Parking Lot 43 from 6 p.m. Friday, Sept. 17, through 7 a.m. Sunday, Sept. 19. Several parking lots near the stadium are closed on game days. Permit holders are notified via email about event impacts to parking.
