City of Coralville issued the following announcement on August 23.
The City of Coralville, in partnership with the United Way of Johnson and Washington Counties, has a utility assistance fund, Neighbors Helping Neighbors. Your donation can help Coralville residents with utility bill payments. The City of Coralville will match each $1 donation with $0.25.
How to donate:
- Donate online at www.coralville.org/neighbors; complete the form and donate by credit card.
- Donate by mail with your paper utility bill by adding the donation to your payment. Write the donation amount in the “Optional Neighbors Helping Neighbors” donation box.
- Donate in person at City Hall, 1512 7th Street, open weekdays from 7:30 am to 5:00 pm (excluding holidays).
- Drop off a donation 24 hours a day at the drive-up/walk-up box by the City Hall parking lot. Place your donation in a sealed envelope marked “Utility Assistance Fund.”
