Stay Connected: Updates from The Center

Update

City of Iowa City issued the following announcement on July 21.

Parking at Tower Place Parking Ramp

The top three floors of the Tower Place Parking Ramp have been closed to the public since late June so that necessary repairs can be made.

Effective Thursday, July 15, 2021, hourly and permit parking have expanded to Levels 1 – 4, except where designated. No parking is allowed on Level 5 (top) to facilitate repairs.

The Senior Center skywalk has also reopened. Customers should use the designated pedestrian walkway on Level 3 to reach the skywalk. Patrons can also access The Center using the pedestrian ramp entrance in the Linn Street alley (on the north side of the building) or the Washington Street entrance.

Senior Center parking permit holders can enter the ramp via the left hand lane when the ramp sign states that it is full.
