City of Coralville issued the following announcement on July 15.
Beginning at 8:00 am on Monday, July 19, 10th Street will be closed between 19th Avenue and 20th Avenue. The closure is needed for MidAmerican Energy to inspect a gas pipeline located under the road.
Detours will be signed for vehicular traffic, and sidewalk access will be maintained along the south side of 10th Street. Coralville Transit service will be maintained in the area, but riders should check for notices posted at the bus stops. 10th Street should re-open to traffic by 5:00 pm, Friday, July 23.
