City of Swisher issued the following announcement.
Nomination papers for the November 2, 2021 elections are available for pick-up at the Johnson County Auditor/County Commissioner of Elections or their website at www.johnson-county.com or Swisher City Hall or https://sos.iowa.gov/elections/electioninfo/cityelections.html
for the following positions: 2 Council Members
(4- year terms for all positions).
Monday, August 23, 2021is the first day for candidates to file at the office of Johnson County Auditor/County Commissioner of Elections.
Thursday, September 16, 2021 is the last day for candidates to file at the office of Johnson County Auditor/County Commissioner of Elections, at which time all nomination papers must be returned to their office by 5:00 p.m.
Can Pickup Blank Nomination and Affidavit Papers at Swisher City Hall
City Hall Hours:
Monday 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Tuesday, Thursday, Friday 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Johnson County Auditor/Commissioner of Elections Hours:
Monday thru Friday 7:45 to 5:30 p.m.
