The University of Iowa men's basketball team has announced its nonconference schedule for the 2025-26 season. Head coach Ben McCollum revealed that the Hawkeyes will play seven home games at Carver-Hawkeye Arena.

Iowa begins the season with five consecutive home games, facing Robert Morris on November 4, Western Illinois on November 7, Xavier on November 14, SEMO on November 18, and Chicago State on November 20.

The team will then travel to Palm Springs, California, to compete in the Acrisure Classic. Iowa is scheduled to play Ole Miss on November 25 and will face either Grand Canyon or Utah in a second game on November 26.

On December 11, Iowa visits Ames for an Iowa Corn Cy-Hawk Series matchup against Iowa State. The Hawkeyes return home to host Western Michigan on December 14. After playing Bucknell at Casey’s Center in Des Moines on December 20, Iowa concludes nonconference play against UMass-Lowell in Iowa City on December 29.

According to the announcement, "Iowa will play four games against 2025 NCAA Tournament teams during non-league play with a fifth game possible depending on the results of the Acrisure Classic."

Season tickets for the upcoming season are available at hawkeyesports.com or through the Iowa Athletics Ticket Office.

The university stated that "the complete schedule, along with times and television information, will be announced once finalized."
