Hawkeye fans who travel to support the University of Iowa football team at away games are invited to attend this season’s Hawkeye Huddles. These events, which take place before each road game, offer an opportunity for fans to gather and show their support.
Hawkeye Huddles are free and include cash refreshments and snacks, door prizes, a DJ playing Hawkeye-themed music, appearances by Herky the Hawk, and performances from the Iowa Spirit Squads. This year, registration is required for all attendees. Fans are encouraged to register in advance if they plan to participate; those who do not register will be placed on a wait list.
The schedule for the 2025 Iowa Football Hawkeye Huddle includes:
- Thursday, September 4: Iowa State – Midweek Pep Rally at Big Grove Brewery in Des Moines from 5:30-7:30 p.m.
- Saturday, October 11: Wisconsin – Discovery Building in Madison, Wisconsin (time to be announced)
- Saturday, November 15: USC – BMO Stadium in Los Angeles (time to be announced)
- Friday, November 28: Nebraska – Embassy Suites in Lincoln, Nebraska from 9-10:30 a.m.
For events without confirmed game times, the gatherings will start three hours prior to kickoff or no earlier than 9 a.m.
