Sunday, March 23: Iowa City High School standout Jay Kennedy’s college team wins to Western Illinois Leathernecks

On Sunday, March 23, former Iowa City High School standout Jay Kennedy’s current college team, the Southern Indiana Screaming Eagles, won 6-4 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the Western Illinois Leathernecks.

The game took place at Alfred D. Boyer Stadium. This was their third matchup against the Leathernecks this season.

The Screaming Eagles’ next game is scheduled for Tuesday, March 25 at 3 p.m. at Ball Diamond against Ball State Cardinals.
