On Friday, Feb. 7, former Liberty High School standouts Brynlee Slockett and Kara Maiers’ current college team, the Northern Iowa Panthers, won 1-0 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the North Dakota Fighting Hawks.

The game took place at UNI-Dome. This was their first matchup against the Fighting Hawks this season.

The Panthers’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 8 at 2 p.m. at UNI-Dome against Loyola Ramblers.
