Spring Clean Up | City of Paducah
The City of Coralville will begin the annual spring cleanup at Oak Hill Cemetery in March to maintain and preserve the appearance of the cemetery. Families and friends maintaining plots in the cemetery are asked to remove flowers and decorations that are not contained on the monument or foundation before March 20, 2023.
City staff will remove or dispose of any remaining floral arrangements or decorations from March 20-24, 2023. If you have loved ones in Oak Hill Cemetery and have graveside items you wish to keep, please visit the gravesite and remove the items before cleanup begins. You may put decorations back on monuments starting March 25, 2023. The annual cleanup is in accordance to section 200.06 of the City of Coralville Park Policy.
In preparation for perpetual care projects including turf maintenance, city staff will begin removing flowers, bushes, and shrubs in accordance to section 200.06 of City of Coralville Park Policy which states that no perennial plantings will be allowed at gravestones.
