The procedure unit has been under construction to update and expand the existing space. The new space offers state-of-the art technology and additional procedure labs. This unit is staffed by our interventional cardiology, cardiac electrophysiology, and vascular surgery faculty.
These changes will improve outcomes, access, and allow UI Health Care to help more patients.
Timeline
The new space opened the first procedure labs in May. Additional labs will gradually open to create a seamless transition for staff and patients.
- Labs 1 – 4: Opened May 2022
- Lab 5: Open Fall 2022
- Labs 6 and 7: Open early 2023
