An open house will be held at the Veterans Memorial in Coralville on Tuesday, May 10, 2022, from 4:30 until 6:00 pm. The Veterans Memorial is located at 1290 1st Avenue in Coralville's Oak Hill Cemetery, just off I-80.
The Veterans Memorial committee will be at the open house to show the project that has been constructed to date, and discuss the last phase of the project: installing six granite medallions, one for each branch of the United States military. The committee is in the final stages of fundraising with just $55,000 left to raise. The total project cost is $370,000.
