Iowa City Parks and Recreation Summer Camp registration opens Tuesday, March 29 for Iowa City residents and Wednesday, March 30, 2022, for nonresidents.
Children who were at least five years old on September 15, 2021, and have completed any grade, K-6, can register.
The Summer Camp is rooted in Environmental Education and Nature. Located at the Ned Ashton House, campers will be engaging in Earth Science, campfire cooking, fishing, nature-based STEAM activities, creating unique art, swimming, and more! The Ned Ashton house is located at 820 Park Road.
The cost is $390 per two-week session. Morning and afternoon supervised play is available weekdays from 7:30 to 9 a.m. and 4 to 5:30 p.m. for registered participants at no additional charge.

- Register in-person at Mercer Park Aquatic Center and Scanlon Gym or Robert A. Lee Community Recreation Center, OR
- Register online via ActiveNet at icgov.org/ActivityRegistration
- Step Two
- Submit the Camper Information form to complete the registration process after registering via ActiveNet
