On Wednesday, April 9, former Iowa City West High School standout Mitch Frey’s current college team, the Winona State Warriors, won 6-5 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the Minnesota State Mankato Mavericks.

The game took place at Loughrey Field. This was their second matchup against the Mavericks this season.

The Warriors’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, April 12 at 1:30 p.m. at Ronken Field against Augustana Vikings.
