On Tuesday, March 11, former Iowa City High School standout Carey Koenig’s current college team, the Drake Bulldogs, lost 9-6 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Creighton Bluejays.
The game took place at Creighton Sports Complex. This was their second matchup against the Bluejays this season.
The Bulldogs’ next game is scheduled for Friday, March 14 at 5 p.m. at E.S. Rose Park against Belmont Bruins.

The University of Iowa women’s volleyball team secured a 3-0 victory over Loyola Chicago on Saturday at Xtream Arena, winning the Kwik Star Klassic and improving to a 6-0 record for the season.
