On Tuesday, Feb. 18, former Solon High School standout Brett White’s current college team, the Baylor Bears, won 5-0 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the UTSA Roadrunners.
The game took place at Baylor Ballpark. This was their first matchup against the Roadrunners this season.
The Bears’ next game is scheduled for Friday, Feb. 21 at 3 p.m. at Baylor Ballpark against Gonzaga Bulldogs.
Iowa is set to host No. 9 Nebraska in a men’s basketball game at Carver-Hawkeye Arena in Iowa City on Tuesday, February 17.
The University of Iowa football team lost to Iowa State 16-13 on Saturday in the annual Iowa Corn Cy-Hawk Series at Jack Trice Stadium.
The University of Iowa women’s volleyball team secured a 3-0 victory over Loyola Chicago on Saturday at Xtream Arena, winning the Kwik Star Klassic and improving to a 6-0 record for the season.
