On Sunday, March 30, former Iowa City High School standout Ella Cook’s current college team, the St. Thomas Tommies, lost 8-6 in their NCAA Division III softball game against the South Dakota Coyotes.
The game took place at Nygaard Field. This was their fifth matchup against the Coyotes this season.
The Tommies’ next game is scheduled for Friday, April 4 at 4 p.m. at Love’s Field against Oklahoma Sooners.

The University of Iowa women’s volleyball team secured a 3-0 victory over Loyola Chicago on Saturday at Xtream Arena, winning the Kwik Star Klassic and improving to a 6-0 record for the season.
