On Sunday, Feb. 16, former Solon High School standout Brett White’s current college team, the Baylor Bears, won 12-4 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Youngstown State Penguins.
The game took place at Baylor Ballpark. This was their third matchup against the Penguins this season.
The Bears’ next game is scheduled for Tuesday, Feb. 18 at 6:30 p.m. at Baylor Ballpark against UTSA Roadrunners.

The University of Iowa football team lost to Iowa State 16-13 on Saturday in the annual Iowa Corn Cy-Hawk Series at Jack Trice Stadium.
The University of Iowa women’s volleyball team secured a 3-0 victory over Loyola Chicago on Saturday at Xtream Arena, winning the Kwik Star Klassic and improving to a 6-0 record for the season.
