The University of Iowa has announced the start times and television coverage for five of its 2025 football home games. The announcement was made in collaboration with the Big Ten Conference and various television networks, including BTN, ESPN, CBS, NBC, and FOX.
The Hawkeyes will begin their season with three consecutive nonconference games. The first game against UAlbany is scheduled for August 30 at Kinnick Stadium with a kickoff time of 5 p.m. Central Time (CT) on FS1.
The annual Iowa Corn Cy-Hawk Series game against Iowa State is set for September 6 at 11 a.m., broadcasted on FOX. The final nonconference game against UMass will take place under the lights at 6:30 p.m. on BTN.
Iowa's conference opener against Rutgers has been rescheduled to Friday, September 19, with a kickoff at 7 p.m., also televised on FOX.
For Homecoming on September 27, Iowa will face Indiana with a kickoff time yet to be finalized between late morning or mid-afternoon slots. Additionally, the Hawkeyes will visit Wisconsin on October 12 and USC on November 15 for their respective Homecoming games. While the time for the Wisconsin game remains undecided, the USC match will commence either at 2 or 2:30 p.m.
The regular season finale is slated for November 28 in Lincoln against Nebraska with an early start time of 11 a.m., aired by CBS.
Other game times will be determined through an in-season selection process based on media rights agreements between the Big Ten Conference and its television partners.
Season ticket holders can confirm their orders now. Mini plan ticket packages become available June 2 for donors and June 5 for the general public. Group tickets and Hawkeye Village ticket & tailgate packages go on sale July 7, while single-game tickets are available to donors starting July 14 and to the general public from July 17 onward. Fight for Iowa mobile passes have already sold out.
University faculty and staff should contact the University of Iowa Athletics Ticket Office regarding season tickets. Tickets for incoming students will be accessible from June 10. The office operates weekdays from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., reachable at telephone number: 1-800-IA-HAWKS.
