On Saturday, April 5, former Iowa City High School standout Ayana Lindsey’s current college team, the Northwestern Wildcats, won 4-3 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Illinois Fighting Illini.

The game took place at Sharon J. Drysdale Field. This was their first matchup against the Fighting Illini this season.

The Wildcats’ next game is scheduled for Sunday, April 6 at 2 p.m. at Sharon J. Drysdale Field against Illinois Fighting Illini.
