City Offices Are Open on Martin Luther King, Jr. Day

The City of Coralville will observe the following hours and services on Martin Luther King Jr. Day on Monday, January 16, 2023:

City Offices

City of Coralville offices will be open normal hours on Monday, January 16, 2023, on Martin Luther King, Jr. Day. 

Trash and Recycling

Trash and recycling will be picked up on schedule.

Coralville Transit

Coralville Transit will run a Saturday route and schedule on January 16. To view bus maps and schedules, visit www.coralville.org/transitmaps.

Free Film Screening at the Library

In honor of Martin Luther King Jr. Day, the Coralville Public Library is hosting a free film screening of "I Am Not Your Negro" (PG-13) on Monday, January 16, at 6:00 pm. This Oscar Award-nominated documentary takes the unfinished manuscript by James Baldwin, “finishing” his exploration about race in America though the lives and assassinations of three of his friends: Martin Luther King, Jr., Medgar Evers, and Malcolm X. The film incorporates interviews and writings by Baldwin, and archival footage. Film screening at the Library
