Beginning Tuesday, Oct. 4, 2022, the 5-Lower Muscatine/Kirkwood bus will be detoured due to road work on the east side of Fairmeadows Boulevard, south of Highway 6.
Outbound buses will continue on the normal route.
Inbound buses will service The Quarters using the Frontage Road as usual, but will then detour to Hollywood Boulevard. Buses will continue to Sycamore Street, Highway 6, and South First Avenue then left back onto Lower Muscatine Road. Eastdale Plaza (Stop 7134) and Proctor and Gamble (Stop 7218) customers can access the inbound 5 - Lower Muscatine / Kirkwood route at Lower Muscatine Road and Mall Drive (Stop 7219).
This detour is expected to last until Oct. 16, 2022.
