City of Swisher recently issued the following announcement.
HE SWISHER CITY COUNCIL
Will hold a public hearing at 7:00 p.m.
Monday, January 10, 2021
At the Swisher Library, 72 Second Street SW, Swisher, IA
PURPOSE OF THE HEARING
The City of SWISHER will conduct a public hearing for the purpose of amending the current budget for fiscal year ending June 30, 2022.
There will be no increase in taxes. Any residents or taxpayers will be heard for or against the proposed amendment at the time and place specified above. A detailed statement of: additional receipts, cash balances on hand at the close of the preceding fiscal year, and proposed disbursements, both past and anticipated, will be available at the hearing.

Anyone wishing to be heard on this matter should appear in person or by representative at the time and place noted above. For further information contact Swisher City Clerk Tawnia Kakacek at City Hall between 9 a.m. and 6 p.m. on Mondays and between 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays.
