City of University Heights recently issued the following announcement.
Leaf vacuuming is over for 2021, but here are other options for disposing of leaves:
- Place leaves in Johnson County Refuse yard waste bags (available for purchase at Fareway), and set the bags out for regular Tuesday curbside pickup.
- Residents may take leaves and other yard waste to the compost facility at the Iowa City Landfill and Recycling Center at no charge.
