City of Swisher recently issued the following announcement.
The City of Swisher is pleased to announce Al Fear accepted the position of Superintendent of Public Works effective August 23, 2021. Al may be a familiar face to residents as he’s lived near Swisher for many years and recently retired from The Cedar Rapids Police Department.
After serving 25 years in law enforcement, Al is seeking a new adventure and Swisher is fortunate to gain him. If you see Al, please join us in welcoming him to his new role.
