On Friday, Feb. 28, former Solon High School standout Brett White’s current college team, the Baylor Bears, lost 4-3 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Oregon State Beavers.
The game took place at Globe Life Field. This was their first matchup against the Beavers this season.
The Bears’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, March 1 at 2 p.m. at Globe Life Field against Ohio State Buckeyes.

The University of Iowa women’s volleyball team secured a 3-0 victory over Loyola Chicago on Saturday at Xtream Arena, winning the Kwik Star Klassic and improving to a 6-0 record for the season.
