On Saturday, April 12, former Iowa City High School standout Carey Koenig’s current college team, the Drake Bulldogs, won 9-4 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Evansville Purple Aces.

The game took place at Tri-State Orthopaedics Field at James & Dorothy Cooper Stadium. This was their second matchup against the Purple Aces this season.

The Bulldogs’ next game is scheduled for Sunday, April 13 at 12 p.m. at Tri-State Orthopaedics Field at James & Dorothy Cooper Stadium against Evansville Purple Aces.
