On Sunday, Feb. 23, former Liberty High School standouts Liam Bender and Mason Gardner’s current college team, the Wartburg Knights, lost 15-5 in their NCAA Division III baseball game against the Illinois Blue Boys.
The game took place at Joe Brooks Baseball Field. This was their first matchup against the Blue Boys this season.
The Knights’ next game is scheduled for Sunday, Feb. 23 at 3 p.m. at Joe Brooks Baseball Field against Illinois Blue Boys.
